All grades of Bitumen are manufactured as specified in IS:73-2006 for paving Bitumen Grade :S35(30/40) & fully blown / semi blown Bitumen Grades specified in IS: 702-1988, To meet the quality requirement of Industrial Bitumen.
AR Bitumen is a thermoplastic material & its stiffness is dependent on temperatures. To grade the bitumen based on viscosity BIS revised IS-73-1992 specifications (Viscosity at 60°C) and as such there are four grades VG-10, VG-20, VG-30 & VG-40.
AR Crumb Rubber Modified Bitumen is a special type of value added bitumen where the properties have been improved by blending with crumb rubber & special types of additives.
AR Tar’s CRMB with enhanced physical properties is more resistant to temperature It meets the IS 15462:2004 specification & IRC SP-53-2002.
AR PMB Polymer Modified Bitumen is produced by blending molten bitumen with suitable thermoplastic & additives .PMB is the latest binder for hot mixed asphalt. It meets the IS 15462:2004 specification & IRC SP-53-2002.
It is available in 40, 70 & 120 grade in Type A-Thermoplastic Plastomer & Type BThermoplastic Elastomer.
